What is consignment?
Trading arrangement in which a seller sends goods to a buyer or reseller who pays the seller only as and when the goods are sold. The seller remains the owner (title holder) of the goods until they are paid for in full and, after a certain period, takes back the unsold goods. Also called sale or return, or goods on consignment.
What is our policy?
We accept only gently used clothing. Clothing must be clean without stains or defects. Freshly laundered, with no smoke smell or animal hair. Once the items are received, they are placed on the website. We determine the price for the consigned merchandise unless otherwise agreed upon. Items are placed for sale for a minimum of 12 weeks. 10 weeks full price and 2 weeks markdown.
All merchandise that is not sold at the end of the consignment timeframe will be evaluated by both Tout Ensemble and Consignee. If the Consignee decides to remove their merchandise, the Consignee takes responsibility for any delivery costs that may result for such removal. All unsold merchandise must be picked up during the assigned week. Any clothing that is not picked up will be donated.
Do you have plus size clothing (sizes 14-30) you would like to consign?
